Language has a music all its own. Who hasn’t found themselves singing lyrics that don’t seem to make any logical sense, just because the words sound good? In this writing workshop we will explore the power of sonics to create surprising and original poetry, driven by sound instead of meaning. Let go of your expectations, your perfectionism, and your ego and set your creativity free!

After our workshop, participants are invited to share a poem (from our workshop or previously written) during our Poetry Open Mic.
