In honor of National Poetry Month, the Open Arts Center is hosting a poetry writing workshop followed by a poetry open mic. In the workshop we will play with sonics and wordplay to create original, surprising poetry meant for performing out loud. Following the workshop, all participants are invited to share their poems (written before or during the workshop) in a poetry open mic.
