Space
Help us secure our dream space
Our goal is to be able to secure a location in Bend’s central district, between 1st and 3rd Street and Franklin and Olney Avenue. We are drawn to this area because it is centrally located with great access to nearby schools. Bend High School, Pilot Butte Middle School and Realms Middle and High School are all within a 5-10 minute drive. This location falls within the public transportation line as well. The Bend central district is currently in a phase of redevelopment with a focus on commitment to community resource expansion. We believe The Open Arts Center is a crucial piece to this puzzle. Having a space dedicated to underserved youth in our area is vital to the health of our community.
If we cannot secure space in the Bend central district, we aim to find space on Bend’s east side so we are more easily accessible to the demographics that need our services the most.

Our Dream Building
We’d like to have a large open communal space with 3 other rooms that will be offset from the communal space. These rooms will be used as a classroom, a music room and a quiet sensory deprivation room.
Overall, we would like the space to be around 4000 - 7000 square feet. The building must fit 50-100 people.
Our hope is to dedicate around 1500-2000 square feet to working artist studios which will accommodate 10-15 studios.
The building must have at least 2 bathrooms.
If leasing, we will need to make sure that it will be okay to paint the walls and use a wide variety of art materials in the space; paint, clay, collage, etc. (we need to be able to get messy!)
Our ideal space will have a parking lot and access to an outdoor green area that can be turned into a garden.
We are imagining building out a warehouse space, so the building does not have to include everything stated above.
Are you a realtor or commercial developer? Do you know of a place that could accommodate our needs? Are you an investor who would like to see this vision come to life?
